ABOUT THIS ITINERARY
This itinerary is designed for guests seeking a relaxed yet exploratory yacht charter along the coastline between Gocek, Fethiye, and Marmaris. The route blends sheltered bays, island cruising, and historic coastal stops, offering a balance of leisure, culture, and optional adventure.
From the waters of Gocek to the coastline of Fethiye and the bays near Marmaris, each area highlights a different side of the Turquoise Coast. The itinerary remains flexible depending on weather, cruising conditions, and guest preferences, with most destinations visited throughout the journey.
Day One
Embark the yacht in Gocek during the afternoon and depart the marina for the sheltered waters of the Gulf of Gocek. Surrounded by pine-covered islands and hidden coves, the region is regarded as one of the Mediterranean’s finest sailing destinations. Anchor overnight in one of the gulf’s peaceful bays.
Day Two
Sail toward the famous Blue Lagoon at Oludeniz, admired for its turquoise waters and dramatic mountain backdrop. Continue onward to Gemile Island, also known as St. Nicholas Island, once an important pilgrimage stop for travellers journeying toward Jerusalem. Explore the island’s ancient churches and enjoy dinner beneath the stars at anchor.
Day Three
After breakfast, sail toward Fethiye Marina for a visit to the region’s largest weekly local market. Guests may browse local produce, textiles, and artisan goods before returning to the yacht in the afternoon. Optional diving experiences can also be arranged, with multiple dive sites explored throughout the day before regrouping onboard for evening cruising and anchorage in the Fethiye Gulf.
Day Four
Set sail through the beautiful Gulf of Gocek, stopping at famous bays including Cleopatra’s Bay and Wall Bay. Swim in crystal-clear waters, relax onboard, or explore hidden coves framed by pine forests and rugged hillsides. Anchor overnight in either Tomb Bay or Monastery Bay.
Day Five
Spend the day cruising through the Gulf of Fethiye with leisurely swim stops along the coastline. Arrive at Aga Limani, a peaceful anchorage surrounded by pine forests and mountain scenery. Guests may choose to enjoy an optional late afternoon hike before dinner onboard.
Day Six
Cruise toward Ekincik Bay and anchor for lunch overlooking the calm coastline. Guests may join an optional excursion along the Dalyan River to Iztuzu Beach, home to the famous Caretta-Caretta turtles, followed by a visit to the Caunos ruins and Dalyan village. Return to the yacht in the late afternoon before enjoying dinner onboard or at an exclusive waterfront restaurant.
Day Seven
Sail toward the Marmaris Gulf with a stop for lunch near Kadirga Bay, Turunc, or Cennet Island. Enjoy the final afternoon cruising through turquoise waters before arriving at Marmaris Marina. Spend the evening exploring Marmaris’ lively waterfront atmosphere, boutiques, and restaurants.
Day Eight
After breakfast onboard, disembark at Marmaris Marina and continue onward with airport transfers or further exploration along Turkey’s southwest coast.
