ABOUT THIS ITINERARY
This Marmaris itinerary is designed for guests seeking a relaxed and scenic yacht charter along Türkiye’s southwest coast. The route combines short sailing passages, quiet bays, village stops, and protected anchorages, creating a smooth balance between time on the water and experiences ashore.
From the calm setting of Cennet Island to the traditional atmosphere of Selimiye, the marina town of Datça, and the historic ruins of Bozukkale, each stop adds a different rhythm to the journey. The itinerary remains flexible, allowing for swimming breaks, lunch stops, shore visits, and calm overnight anchorages depending on weather and guest preference.
Note: The itinerary is always weather permitting. The skipper is happy to discuss next day's route daily with guests to ensure the best possible experience.
Day One
Embark the yacht in Marmaris and begin the charter with a short cruise toward Cennet Island. This gentle first passage allows guests to settle onboard, enjoy the coastline, and ease into the pace of the week. The afternoon can be spent swimming, relaxing on deck, or enjoying a quiet dinner at anchor. Overnight at Cennet Island.
Day Two
Sail west after breakfast, following the coast toward Gebeklise for a peaceful lunch stop. Guests may enjoy a swimming break or take an optional visit ashore before continuing the route. In the afternoon, cruise onward to Serce, a sheltered bay known for its calm overnight setting. Anchor overnight in Serce.
Day Three
After breakfast, sail toward Dirsekbükü for a relaxed lunch and swimming break in one of the area’s quieter bays. The protected waters make it well suited for time in the sea, paddleboarding, or simply enjoying the scenery from the yacht. Later in the day, return to Serce for another calm overnight anchorage. The pace remains easy and unhurried, with the day shaped around swimming and relaxation.
Day Four
Sail toward Datça after breakfast, with a swimming break along the way to enjoy the clear coastal waters. Arrive at Datça Marina in the afternoon, where guests can step ashore and explore the town at their own pace. The evening is free for dining ashore, with no dinner served onboard. Overnight in Datça Marina.
Day Five
Leave Datça early in the morning and sail toward Hisarönü Gulf, one of the most scenic cruising areas along the Bozburun Peninsula. The route offers open-water views before entering calmer, more protected bays. Anchor overnight at Bencik, a peaceful inlet surrounded by natural scenery. The evening is ideal for a quiet dinner onboard and relaxed time at anchor.
Day Six
Sail to Selimiye after breakfast, arriving in time for lunch and free time ashore. This elegant coastal village is known for its calm waterfront, relaxed atmosphere, and traditional marina setting. In the afternoon, continue toward a bay near Bozburun for a quiet overnight anchorage. The day blends village life, relaxed dining, and protected cruising.
Day Seven
Sail east toward Bozukkale, a historic bay known for its ancient ruins and dramatic coastal setting. After lunch, guests can visit the ruins ashore and take in the surrounding views. Later in the afternoon, continue toward Cape Kadırga for the final overnight anchorage of the journey. The day offers a strong mix of history, scenery, and relaxed sailing.
Day Eight
Enjoy a final morning cruise back toward Marmaris, with breakfast onboard and views of the coastline along the way. Enter Marmaris Marina for a smooth disembarkation and onward travel arrangements. The journey concludes with a relaxed return after a week of sheltered bays, quiet villages, and classic Turkish coastal cruising.
