About Us:
Vela Dare Yachts established in December 1995, the founder Capt. H. Serhan Cengiz, with merchant shipping background worked as cargo & ship broker and ship agent for major international principals till December 1996. In 1997 upon completion and launching his own gulet, 28 meters, the Amazon Solo, then one of the largest gulets in the Turkish med, he concentrated on Yacht Chartering only and got settled in Gocek, exclusive yachting center in South Turkey . He is also founder member and present General Secretary of Turkish Yachting and Brokers Association, TYBA.
Vela Dare Yachts’ field of activities include Yacht Chartering in Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Italy and Caribbean , as well as Land & Sea combined Travel Organizations in Turkey and Corporate Incentives and Yacht Agency Services, (clearence, bunkering, crew change etc. Under name of (‘Turkish Med Yacht Services’’) and Central Agency services.

In 2020 Vela Dare Yachts will be proudly celebrating 26th year in yacht chartering combined with tailor made cultural and thematic land excursions.

Can joined the company in 2011. Can has worked as project manager in various mega construction projects in Turkey and Saudi Arabia, since 2011 he joined Vela Dare Yachts as Charter Operations & Yacht Agency Services Manager , married with one child, speaks Turkish, English, medium level Arabic.
Capt Yusuf Gündüz, Captain, Winter Parking – Guardianage Supervisor.
Capt Yusuf Gunduz is in charge of the MS Amazon Solo and joined the company in 2004, he is an experienced captain, also technical supervisor and is in charge of guardinage services.
Tatyana Sinyutkina-Cengiz, Russian Clientele Concierge and Communication.
Tatyana has joined the firm in 2010, she is a lawyer, knows Russian and Kazakh law, she is in charge of Russian guests – owners ‘ communication and concierge. Married with one child. Speaks Russian, English & Turkish.
